In 1992 on the edge of the Caribbean Sea, we discovered a tiny fishing village named Castara, with its two lovely beaches and a full moon.
From the simple seaside cottages that we then built for vacationers, Castara, a little village that went to sleep at 8pm, grew into an important tourist centre in Tobago. Our accommodation is virtually the same today - three cottages all of which differ in location and style and mood. A vacation in one would be very different from that in another. With a holiday in Sea Steps there’s the immediate beach, with Sweet Point there are stupendous views.
Sea Steps Cottage and its annex are on their own in a tiny cove with its own beach. Sweet Point Cottage with its three apartments is high on a cliff with splendid views of the Caribbean Sea. Trinity's Cottage near our entrance is very much a family style dwelling with lots of living space.
Additionally we have a restaurant, the Clay Kitchen, which recently reopened after refurbishment.
What’s more we are very central and within easy walking or even swimming distance to all of the beaches.
